Helen Zille, National Leader of the Democratic Alliance (DA), will on Wednesday celebrate Youth Day in Gugulethu, Cape Town, with the DA Youth. Ms Zille will address the community, and in particular the youth, on their role in our constitutional democracy, the challenges they face with regards to education, drugs, crime and jobs and will outline the DA’s plan to ensure all young people have access to opportunities that will allow them to better their lives, irrespective of the circumstances they were born into.
Other speakers include DA Youth National Spokesperson, Khume Ramulifho MPL; Mayco Member for Social Development, Councillor Grant Pascoe and N2 Development Constituency Youth Chair, Siphumle Yalezo.
There will be photo and interview opportunities.
