DA Youth to go to congress

Yesterday, 1 February, the DA Youth National Management Committee and DA Federal Executive set the date for the second Federal Youth Congress for 4 May 2013.

The congress will elect a new National Management Committee for the DA Youth including a Federal Youth Leader and Chairperson. Any official member of the DA Youth may avail him/herself for nomination to the five positions available.

As well as electing leadership, the congress will also deal with policy proposals and amendments to the internal rules and procedures.

Deadlines with respect to nominations, delegates, the submission of resolutions, as well as the rules governing campaigning, will be communicated to all structures by the Presiding Officer in due course.

    Absolutely, the federal youth congress is open to members of the DA Youth from all levels who are elected as delegates. You just need to secure your position as an elected delegate from your constituency.

    If you are elected as a delegate by your constituency then yes. You must be an elected delegate to attend.

    I’m new in DA, an official under our constituency in Matatiel and I live in Ugie working in Elundini Local Municipality as Community Support Officer I am starting on the 1 March 2013.

    I love DA it promises light and growth to our young africans, our youth needs strong and active member to stand for them with the purpose to generate change.

    I hope to bring change in DA and be active with all that I that can.
