The DA Youth notes the expulsion of Julius Malema from the ANC.

We urge all involved to respect the internal processes of the ruling party so that South Africa can now move beyond the period of sensationalist, bully politics that characterised Malema’s tenure and turn its much needed attention to the many substantive issues facing the youth. These issues range from a massive youth unemployment rate to a lack of access to tertiary education and a generation of primary school learners that are hardly numerate or literate.

Julius Malema was a polarizing force in South Africa and the DA Youth will now ensure that the focus is on building a united, non-racial, open opportunity future.

  • Let this be a lesson to the youth that a road of power greed ends in anything but isolation and self destruction.

This is a great thing to happen for our democracy, many will now learn that no individual is bigger than SA, a party, race or movement. Let us not confuse the expulsion of Malema for just an ANC issue, it is a South African issue, a human rights issue and democracy issue where many people have been politically bullied, deprived or even insulted by the likes of Malema and his cronies. Lessons are not just for the ANC but the whole SA youth. We should know that one can disagree with elders without being disagreeable.

Let the real issues that affect the youth now be the talk of the town and not selfish issues that aim to advance only a selected few.

  • Life is learning cave I hope what happen to Malema is the remainder to all South African youth that u must work and do everything with concise, to have morals is the key to success

  • Worth watching and spreading around SA.. Making headlines in the US why don’t we know about it in Africa!?
